The newest aspect of Facebook, at least for my group of friends, to come across is the 25 Things You Might Not Know. I usually hate chain mail and the like, but this one is unique with each person; you find out some interesting facts about your friends. So here's how it goes: all you do is write 25 random things about yourself and tag 25 of your friends that you want to read it. Those people read it, and make their own list. You can be funny, serious, or talk about anything you want. I want to share with you my list, so that you will know a little more about me. 3. I am only competitive when I think I should win, or when others are arrogant and I want to put them in their place, otherwise I don't mind losing (at least not as much).
4. I think that the teenage years are awkward, fun and really interesting, that's why I want to be a math teacher.
5. My mom is the best cook/bake, and I have been extremely spoiled in this department. Every time I come home, there are three batches of fresh cookies/brownies and a cake, and when I leave there are always cookies to go along, you should pray for my future wife:)
6. I live with Ryan Christie, who vicariously has a Facebook through me.
7. I was terrible at naming pets. (i.e. "tickley" the rat because when he ran on my neck it tickled, "fluffy" the dog because he was a little fluff ball, crest the lizard, because i liked crest toothpaste, etc.) I guess I'm very descriptive in my names.
8. I was spoiled to grow up in Pacifica, CA; and have been at a loss living in Riverside the past four years, dreaming of being by the beach again.
9. I played Golf four years in high school, I don't play much anymore.
10. I'm scared and unsure about the future. I'm afraid of losing friendships.
11. One of my biggest fears is being replaceable.
12. I love eating international food, especially Thai food as of late. Sawadee Cap, Pad See Aew is delicious, but I think Red Curry is my fav.
13. I love my sister, and wish that we could hang out more, unfortunately we live far away.
14. I would rather be cold than hot, but not too cold. I like to wear jackets and pants rather than shorts and a tee shirt.
15. I admire John Sach's thoughts and Ryan Christie's diligence, Daniel Abrahamson's athletic ability, and Chris Smithson's mind.
16. I have gotten a ticket for going 47 in a 25, I've been pulled over because the cop thought I was too young to be driving, and I've been a victim of a hit and run by a Lexus RX300 and have despised them ever since.
17. I love quality time and views. I need to experience things with another to really enjoy it, even if we do not talk.
18. I want to learn another language, but cannot get motivated enough if I'm not going to use it on a consistent basis.
19. I just found out that I am at least 1/16 Jewish.
20. I like to read (Fitzgerald, Lewis, Steinbeck, Hemingway, etc.)
21. I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but I would like to go soon.
22. I enjoy cooking, when i have time, I probably will not enjoy cooking if I have to do it every night. My favorite meal to cook is Stuffed Green Bell Peppers.
23. I went to an all boys Catholic high school, our colors were purple and gold, and it was in San Francisco. I do not regret going there, but I'm pretty sure my junior and senior year of high school were harder than my freshman and sophomore year at college.
24. I would love to live like the guy in Into the Wild.
25. If I randomly got $32,000, I would travel with friends around the world and do whatever we wanted with it and give it to whoever we wanted. That's based off a book, but I think it sounds really cool.
This is just a closer look into my life. I hope you feel closer to me now that you know them.

ReplyDeletei believe you don't have to worry about being replaceable. i've never met anyone like you and it's cool. your nice and respectable to people you meet.
this reminds me of beyonce because of her song "irreplaceable". of course, it goes without saying you are manlier.
